Finally a high quality low cost solution to your aircraft air conditioning needs. The Extreme Aircooler is a completely Portable self contained unit that doesn’t require an STC to install. It is a totally closed system that uses a genuine air conditioning style heat exchanger. The heat exchanger uses the ice water pumped through it to cool the air. The air is delivered into the cabin by a two speed fan system that produces up to 450 cfm of air flow yet draws only 7.5 amps of power.

The Extreme Aircooler is not a swamp cooler. It is a completely closed system. Because the air is blown through a heat exchanger and not blown over the water or ice there is no chance of humidifying the air. Simply add a gallon of water and 20-40lbs of ice, plug the power cord into your power port, select your fan speed and enjoy up to 4 hours of comfort in your nice cool cabin!

You feel cool almost immediately even if it’s still hot inside the car! Add one of our, left or right reversible, Remote Vent Kits to your Extreme Aircooler so you can direct the cool air where you need it most.

The heavy duty power cord is long enough to reach the baggage compartment of most 4 seat single engine aircraft. It can be concealed under the carpet and the two-speed lighted switch can be velcroed into position for that “professional installed look”. If you don’t already have one, ask your A&P or Avionics Specialist to install a power port in your baggage area, so you can run the cord back for easy loading and removal, and save the power port you have up front for some of your other toys!
If you’re flying in turbulence the last thing you need is a bath of ice water. That’s why included with every Extreme Aircooler is a tie down kit so you can safely secure your Extreme Aircooler system in either your baggage compartment or on your back seat.

 

 

All components are extremely high quality powder coated aluminum available in either Grey or Beige. The main body is available only in white, but can easily be painted to match any aircraft interior.
